The Orton-Gillingham Center of Charleston (OGCC) was established in 2018 by Charleston leaders seeking elevate the Orton-Gillingham Approach in the Lowcountry. It has always been our mission to bring understanding and awareness to this approach.

What is Dyslexia?
Dyslexia is a language based learning disability that is neurobiological in origin. It is characterized by difficulties with accurate and fluent word recognition and by poor spelling and decoding abilities.
