Each lesson is 1:1 and individualized for the student. A lesson ranges from 50-60 minutes. To be effective, lessons are held twice a week at a minimum, although some students will need 3-4 lessons a week. The first lesson will include an informal assessment to determine the student’s starting point for future sessions.
Each practitioner has a deep understanding of the nature of dyslexia and the training to provide 1:1 structured reading intervention. All practitioners have been trained by a Fellow of the Academy of Orton Gillingham Practitioners and Educators (AOGPE) and have completed or are currently completing their practicum under a supervising Fellow.
